Hot Drape Forming Tool
This custom hot drape former features a custom control system and custom temperature control. This forming tool precisely drapes composite material over a mold and heats it until it sets in the right shape. The system controls the temperature inside the box from 70°F to ~ 160°F. Hot drape formers provide operators a reliable and precise way to conform carbon fiber to their exact dimensions.
