• AA Degree in mechanical design and drafting is a plus.

• 5 years mechanical design and drafting experience minimum.

• High School diploma with education/training in mechanical design and drafting minimum.

• Experienced at conceiving, designing, and documenting sophisticated electro-mechanical systems for aerospace equipment and tooling applications.

• Quality workmanship, error free work, and attention to detail are paramount.

• Must work well with other engineers and technicians on multi-disciplined technical teams.

• Must communicate well, verbally and in writing, with management, customers, suppliers, and co-workers.

• Must be proficient with Catia and MS Office as a minimum.

• Experience with Solid Works and AutoCAD is a plus.

• Experience with scheduling, budgeting, and proposals for assigned projects is a plus.

• Design of a servo motor drive wheel mechanism for mobile carts and vehicles; pneumatic monitoring system for composite part locating jigs; wing to aircraft installation and alignment tool; sophisticated electro-pneumatic cell controller for monitor and control of pneumatic and electric tools. Tools are utilized to drill, measure, and torque in blind access areas; servo motorized jacking system for install of landing gears on commercial aircraft
